Matravius is an accomplished singer and actor based in Phoenix, Arizona. A versatile vocalist, Matravius has performed genres spanning opera, musical theater, jazz, rock, and soul.

Raised in Denver CO, Matravius grew up studying music. His intense training began at age 12 when he attended junior high through high school at Denver School of the Arts. Matravius then attended the University of Denver’s Lamont School of Music where he focused on classical music and developing his voice as a solo performer. Post-undergrad, Matravius relocated to Phoenix to pursue a graduate degree in music performance at Arizona State University.

 

Since college, Matravius has earned a name for himself as a dazzling vocalist and actor. Matravius has been seen all over the US, and abroad in Japan, performing in endless concerts and musicals. Past favorites shows include Big Band Beat at Tokyo Disney Resort, Ragtime, The Pajama Game, Passing Strange, Rent and Jekyll & Hyde. Matravius is thankful to have performed theatre classics along with original works. In his spare time, Matravius likes to work on home improvement projects, partake in all things geek, and spend time with his beautiful wife, baby boy Lennox, and pup Flick.
